Hearing loss is such a common problem the old people. Around 65-74, it is starting to do the hearing loss. It also can damage the young children. Some of the examples is sensorineural hearing loss, conductive hearing loss and mixed hearing loss. This shows that people has lots of problems with hearing loss. But, there is a solution to this problem. There is a technology called hearing aids.

In this diagram, it shows a graph about hearing loss. As you can see, the biggest hearing loss problem is manufacturing. Manufacturing contains of 50.9% of people have their hearing problems there. The amount of people having there problem with manufacturing is 529 people. This diagram explains hearing loss from any places/things such as transportation , construction places, etc. 

Some facts of hearing loss:

In this diagram, it shows a picture of an ear. In this ear, it shows the pinna, the ear canal, the ear drum, and the ossicles. Some people cannot hear very well because of aging. So, we have come up with a solution that old or even young people could use hearing aids. Hearing aids are devices that can help us to hear other people's words. Specifically, hearing aid usage is positively related to the following quality of life issues. 

Somehow, hearing aids is really useful to use for old and young people.The diagram shows how the hearing aids work. There is also the settings in the hearing aids such as the microphone, ear hook, earmold, speaker, amplifier and the batteries. This is the answer/solution of hearing problems. 






Hearing loop (or induction loop) systems use electromagnetic energy to transmit sound. A hearing loop system involves four parts:

1. A sound source, such as a public address system, microphone, or home TV or telephone
2. An amplifier
3. A thin loop of wire that encircles a room or branches out beneath carpeting
4. A receiver worn in the ears or as a headset

Amplified sound travels through the loop and creates an electromagnetic field that is picked up directly by a hearing loop receiver or a telecoil , a miniature wireless receiver that is built into many hearing aids and cochlear implants. To pick up the signal, a listener must be wearing the receiver and be within or near the loop. Because the sound is picked up directly by the receiver, the sound is much clearer, without as much of the competing background noise associated with many listening environments. 

Some loop systems are portable, making it possible for people with hearing loss to improve their listening environments, as needed, as they proceed with their daily activities. A hearing loop can be connected to a public address system, a television, or any other audio source. For those who don’t have hearing aids with embedded telecoils, portable loop receivers are also available.

Sometimes, hearing aids can cost to a lot of money wasted. But, it is worthy for the sake of our loss of hearing. Also, some might say that it is too expensive and we cannot afford it. Some people will agree, some will not.
